In reality, the desire to sail across the Atlantic had never left me. I jumped at the chance, and after a few exchanges of e-mails I was quickly accepted on board to help bring <em>Trinket<\/em> back to Europe. <\/p>\n<p>At the end of May 2012, the day after my last final exam at university, I found myself on an Air Cara\u00efbes plane bound for Fort-de-France in Martinique to meet Cosmo, Paul, Carla and Oceana for the first time.
