IMPACT
“I’m convinced we need a closer link between the scientific community sounding the alarm and the wider public. More than ever, we must share the story of our planet and the challenges it faces—to raise awareness and inspire people to take action.”
A passionate advocate for the planet, Matthieu Tordeur leads educational and scientific expeditions to raise awareness about the polar regions and to better understand the vital role they play in Earth’s climate and ecosystems.
Through the 90° SUD Association, which Matthieu leads, we work for the common good to:

Raise public awareness about the risks linked to polar warming and climate disruption, as well as the importance of protecting natural environments and biodiversity.

Foster environmental awareness among the general public by encouraging knowledge, reflection, and a commitment to preserving nature and all living beings.

Inspire a spirit of adventure and discovery, the pursuit of personal growth, and a commitment to solidarity.
Matthieu is a board member of the “Témoins Polaires” endowment fund, which aims to raise awareness of climate change and fostering knowledge, respect, and appreciation for the polar regions—symbols of our planet’s beauty and fragility. He is actively involved in organising scientific expeditions.

He is also part of the “Paul-Émile Victor” endowment fund, dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of Paul-Émile Victor, the ethnologist and polar explorer. Matthieu co-founded the Exploration Grant, which supports diverse exploration projects focused on protecting both people and nature.

Since 2022, he has been a member of the international movement 1% for the Planet, which brings together companies committed to environmental protection.
Through this initiative, 1% of his revenue is donated to organisations dedicated to preserving the environment. Learn more →
