Synopsis
Two childhood friends. Two electric bikes. One extraordinary challenge: crossing the Sahara from north to south. Nicolas and Matthieu set out to cover 2,400 kilometers between Cairo and Khartoum, without the support of a camel caravan—relying solely on their energy, determination, and modern technology. This daring adventure becomes a real-world test of “soft” mobility in one of the harshest deserts on Earth. Guided by the Nile, the source of life and cradle of millennia-old civilizations, they pedal through landscapes that shift from lush riverbanks to arid sand seas, past temples, pyramids, and unexpected power outlets. A journey through history, endurance, and friendship—welcome to the land of the pharaohs and the Nubian Desert.
